From the first on-site discovery meeting to final completion, we guide clients through design, selections, and procurement, maintaining clear communication with weekly meetings, recaps, and site updates. Role Overview:We are seeking a motivated, organized, and skilled Site Supervisor to join our fast-growing, high-end residential remodeling and construction company. You will be a primary project lead, responsible for managing the daily on-site operations at high-end residential job sites. This is a hands-on role where your expertise in construction management and carpentry will directly impact the quality and success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations: on one or more residential job sites: schedule trades, coordinate deliveries, sequence work correctly.
- Oversee quality: inspect all work for adherence to drawings, specifications, and codes; punch-list management .
- Enforce site safety and compliance: conduct daily site walks, manage PPE/training, ensure OSHA compliance .
- Direct on-site crews: mentor subcontractors, supervise progress, and maintain performance standards.
- Manage logistics: oversee material ordering, order input, delivery verification, site equipment and storage .
- Client/PM liaison: maintain ongoing communication, flag delays or issues, track progress.
- Document work: take notes, photo/video capture, create Daily Logs for every working day on a project in BuilderTrend.
- Conduct handovers: ensure clean transitions between trades and project phases
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-10 years in high-end residential construction as a carpenter or skilled tradesperson
- Minimum 3–5 years in supervisory or team lead roles
- High school diploma or equivalent required; formal construction education preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, building codes, and quality standards
- Skilled in carpentry: framing, trim work, general remodeling
- Excellent organization and communication abilities; team leadership skills
- OSHA and site safety practices understanding
- Must be physically capable of navigating active construction sites
- Valid driver’s license; personal tools and vehicle required
- Proficiency or willingness to learn project management software, BuilderTrend
- Willingness to perform an in-person skills assessment for the interview
Preferred Qualifications:
- Construction management, engineering, or trades certification
- Strong photography/video documentation skills
- Familiarity with building permit processes in your jurisdictionPrevious experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects
