Role Description The Job Captain is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX, responsible for coordinating the development of architectural projects from design through construction documentation. This role oversees the preparation of detailed drawings, ensures technical accuracy, and maintains alignment with the client’s brand standards and project goals. Daily responsibilities include managing project schedules, collaborating with architects and designers, coordinating with consultants, and responding to contractor questions during construction. The Job Captain reviews plans for code compliance, supports quality control processes, and helps resolve design and technical issues to keep projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Self -motivated and able to learn.
• Not afraid to take on new tasks and grow.
• 1-3 Years Experience in commercial projects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in architectural design and detailing, including the ability to develop clear, buildable construction documents.
• Skills in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD) and general office tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX, and collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and contractors throughout all project phases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; progress toward professional licensure (or licensure) is preferred.
