What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Backup Driver position at Liniform Service?
General Summary
Family owned company looking for an independently motivated and entrepreneurial minded Route Service Backup Driver to help service our customers. This position involves delivering clean uniforms and linens, facility services products, and other rental products to medical and hospitality customers and returning soiled items to Liniform for cleaning. Service representatives build rapport with customers, ensure quality standards for them and pro-actively solve customer concerns. Employee will be trained on several established customer service routes and then service those customers when necessary due to colleague absences and vacations.
Requirements
- Clean driving record and competency to drive a delivery vehicle ( Step van ranging in size from 16'-20' ).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds.
- Great people skills: listening and communication skills for maintaining great customer relations and for enhancing teamwork with other Liniform employees.
- Ability to work independently and make good judgment calls.
- Competency with basic technology devices such as cell phone for downloading billing software.
- Prior customer service, route sales, delivery and / or entrepreneurial experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Starting hourly wage of $20.00 per hour.
