As we continue to grow in North America, we are looking for a hands-on Senior Business Development Specialist, Community Growth to help expand our presence in key local markets. This role is ideal for someone with strong B2C sales, community outreach, field marketing, and local partnership experience who is excited to build growth channels from the ground up.

About the Role

This is a field-oriented, results-driven growth role focused on local market expansion, community partnerships, parent-facing outreach, and grassroots marketing. You will help build local awareness, generate qualified leads, develop community relationships, and support enrollment growth in assigned markets.

The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, sales-minded, and comfortable engaging directly with parents, community organizations, schools, local businesses, and education-related partners. Experience with field outreach, local market development, social media/community marketing, or community-based B2C sales is highly valued.

Key ResponsibilitiesLocal Market Growth & Community Outreach

  • Build and execute local growth plans to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and enrollment opportunities in assigned markets.
  • Identify and develop outreach channels through schools, parent groups, community organizations, local businesses, cultural associations, and education-related partners.
  • Conduct hands-on field outreach, including community visits, local events, education fairs, workshops, referral activities, and grassroots marketing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a strong local network to support ongoing lead flow and brand visibility.

Partnerships & Relationship Development

  • Develop and manage relationships with local partners who can support referrals, trial class sign-ups, community engagement, or enrollment growth.
  • Communicate LingoAce’s program value clearly and professionally to parents, educators, community leaders, and business partners.
  • Represent LingoAce in community-facing settings and maintain a professional, trusted brand image.
  • Identify market trends, local opportunities, and partnership ideas that can support business growth.

Sales Execution & Performance Tracking

  • Own local lead generation and business growth targets, with accountability for activity, pipeline, and performance results.
  • Follow up with leads and partners in a timely and professional manner to support conversion and enrollment outcomes.
  • Track outreach activities, lead sources, partnership progress, conversion results, and local market feedback.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline, results, challenges, market insights, and recommended action plans.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal sales, marketing, and operations teams to support local growth goals.

Social Media & Community Marketing

  • Leverage local community channels, social media groups, parent networks, and referral communities to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Support local content, campaign ideas, and community-based promotional efforts to drive awareness and qualified interest.
  • Help identify effective online and offline channels for reaching target parent/student audiences.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of hands-on experience in business development, B2C sales, field marketing, community growth, local market expansion, partnerships, or lead generation.
  • Proven experience generating leads, building local relationships, or supporting revenue/enrollment growth through community outreach or sales activities.
  • Experience with grassroots outreach, field promotion, local events, and community networking.
  • Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English; bilingual Chinese/English ability is required.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to engage professionally with parents, educators, community partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Sales-minded, goal-oriented, and comfortable working toward KPI-based performance targets.
  • Strong ownership and execution skills; able to plan, follow up, manage multiple priorities, and report progress clearly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed for events, outreach, and market development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in education, tutoring, enrichment programs, EdTech, family/children’s services, local services, food delivery/platform businesses, or community commerce.
  • Prior experience with companies or roles involving local market growth, field sales, merchant/community acquisition, social media/community marketing, or parent/customer acquisition.
  • Existing community networks in Texas or Southern California.
  • Familiarity with local parent communities, schools, after-school programs, or education-related organizations.
  • Experience using CRM tools, spreadsheets, or structured reporting to track pipeline, activities, and performance results.

Compensation

Expected total annual compensation is $79,000–$100,000, including base salary and KPI-based monthly performance bonus. Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, location, and performance against agreed business goals.

Location

This role is currently focused on candidates based in Texas or Southern California. The position may be remote or hybrid depending on business needs, but local field outreach, community events, and regional travel will be part of the role.
