Mandarin Chinese Teacher

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Chinese Language Teacher to deliver engaging, in-person Mandarin lessons at our learning center. This role is ideal for someone who excels at classroom management and is dedicated to fostering language proficiency while sharing the richness of Chinese language learning. This position is crucial in helping students navigate the challenges of language acquisition in a fun and interactive environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach in classroom structured, interactive Mandarin lessons tailored to students’ ages and skill levels.
• Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment to maximize student participation.
• Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and oral evaluations.
• Provide feedback to students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with teaching teams to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
• Integrate elements of Chinese culture (e.g., festivals, traditions) into lessons to enhance learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Education or a related field.
• Fluent Mandarin proficiency with excellent pronunciation and grammar.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring, especially in language education is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with young learners effectively.
• Strong organizational skills to develop clear lesson plans and track student progress.
