What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Manager position at Lingo?
Work closely with the management team to oversee daily operations during weekend brunch and dinner shifts only.
- Supervise front-line staff during weekend shifts (brunch and dinner) to ensure efficient operations
- Conduct and/or attend pre-shift meetings.
- Handle guest complaints in a personal and timely manner.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reports
- Abide by and uphold company policies, and standards as well as state sanitation/health regulations.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, or support staff to maintain service standards
- A minimum of three years of experience working as front-of-house/floor manager in a fast-paced, high volume, restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of service points, food, wine, and spirits, and the ability to train staff in all areas.
- Ability to work independently and make quick, effective decisions
- Proven ability to motivate and manage staff.
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (and occasional holidays)
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Experience with Japanese ingredients is a plus
- Knowledge of Toast is strongly preferred
Salary : $30 - $35
