Linger Coffee Co. is looking for an experienced barista to join our family-run coffee shop in the heart of Lyons!
We’re looking for someone who knows their way around an espresso machine, takes pride in crafting great drinks, and genuinely enjoys connecting with customers. At Linger, we believe great coffee, good energy, and a welcoming atmosphere go hand in hand.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare high-quality espresso drinks, including hot, iced, and specialty beverages.
- Operate and maintain espresso equipment with confidence.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service.
- Take orders, process payments, and keep the bar running smoothly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
- Follow recipes and maintain consistency in every drink.
- Assist with food service, restocking, and general coffer shop operations.
- Work collaboratively with our team to create a welcoming experience for every guest.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous professional barista experience is required.
- Comfortable working with commercial espresso equipment.
- Knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, and drink building.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team.
Salary : $17 - $25
