Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a Tier I Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to support a 24/7 security operations environment by monitoring, triaging, and responding to security events affecting mission-critical systems. This role is responsible for identifying and escalating potential incidents, documenting activities, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain operational readiness. Job Duties

• Monitor and support a 24/7 security operations environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Perform proactive monitoring of mission-critical communication sites and information systems.
• Classify, prioritize, and escalate security alerts to ensure timely response.
• Follow established procedures for data collection, triage, analysis, event classification, and escalation.
• Capture, document, and respond to events received through email, chat, voice, and other communication channels.
• Analyze technical data to distinguish legitimate security events from false positives and maintain triage accuracy.
• Assist in developing and improving operational playbooks, dashboards, metrics, and detection strategies.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to communicate incident details and recommended response actions.
• Support network and security incident response activities and assist with resolution efforts as directed.
