Position Overview:
This role provides expert IT and functional support for Finance, Treasury, and Banking systems throughout an S/4HANA migration, ensuring seamless integration, testing, and process alignment. The position partners closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to optimize configuration, data quality, reporting, and overall project execution.
Duties:
Act as IT point of contact and SME for Finance, Treasury, and Banking systems during S/4HANA migration activities.
Coordinate with project teams, system integrators, and business stakeholders to support configuration, development, and testing.
Rapidly learn current-state end-to-end processes and align them to future S/4HANA designs.
Participate in functional reviews and testing for both ECC and S/4HANA environments.
Support data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, validation, and migration activities.
Ensure modifications and upgrades are fully tested, documented, and quality-assured.
Enhance project tracking, reporting, and analysis capabilities with IT and finance partners.
Help identify and deliver Finance, Treasury, and Banking–related training needs and materials.
Troubleshoot project issues and support cutover and hypercare phases.
Promote best practices for change management and business process documentation.
Apply deep experience in configuring and supporting SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA Treasury and Banking.
Configure treasury functions for bonds, money market sweeps, derivatives, and related financial accounting integration.
Utilize experience with lockbox processing, electronic bank statements, and month-end/year-end treasury activities.
Develop and review functional/technical design documents, test scripts, and training materials.
Support integration with external systems, banks, and collection agencies in real-time and batch modes.
Manage background job processing for finance and treasury functions.
Support payment posting processes including ACH, checks, real-time and digital payments.
Contribute to brownfield ECC-to-S/4HANA migration planning and execution, including cloud and Fiori transitions.
Develop and review test scenarios, cases, and results, including hands-on testing in Azure DevOps.
Apply understanding of finance and treasury procedures and regulations relevant to public-sector environments.
Required Skills:
6 years of experience configuring and supporting SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA Treasury and Banking components.
5 years of experience configuring treasury modules for bond transactions, money market sweeps, and derivatives, including integration with Financial Accounting.
5 years of experience processing lockbox files and electronic bank statements in SAP.
Experience participating in at least two implementation projects for SAP Banking and Treasury components.
Extensive experience designing and delivering reporting requirements; familiarity with SAP Analytic Cloud is beneficial.
Thorough understanding of end-to-end business processes within SAP Finance, Treasury, and Banking.
Hands-on experience developing, reviewing, and editing functional, technical, and testing design documents.
Hands-on experience creating and refining training materials such as process documents and job aids for Banking and Treasury processes.
Experience with month-end and year-end financial processes in SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA.
Bachelor’s degree in business management or information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in SAP Treasury and Risk Management (SAP TRM).
