The SAP S/4HANA Project Systems, Asset Accounting & SAC Planning Specialist will lead the design, integration, and optimization of PS and enterprise planning solutions within S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud. This role demands advanced expertise in project structuring, cross-module data integration, and hands-on delivery of actionable reporting and analytics. The consultant will be fully dedicated to the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless process transformation and stakeholder collaboration.
Required Skills:
- Over 10-15 years of overall SAP GL implementation with a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP S/4 projects managing the Project Systems and Asset accounting processes.
- Project Commitment and Onsite Requirements:
- Be 100% dedicated to this project, with no engagement in other projects during the project timeline.
- Attend and participate in key onsite meetings and workshops, Detailed build and test phases, User Acceptance Testing, and other times as per the project requirement.
- Oversee and optimize SAP Project Systems configuration, ensuring effective setup and management of WBS elements, cost centers, networks, and project-related data in an S/4HANA environment.
- Design and implement SAP PS structures—including WBS, networks, milestones, and cost allocations—leveraging the newest S/4HANA features and Fiori user interfaces.
- Design robust, enterprise-ready planning models in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) that integrate real-time project data from S/4HANA, enabling timely and accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to redesign and enhance end-to-end project management processes, utilizing S/4HANA advancements such as Universal Journal and embedded analytics.
- Ensure seamless data flow and process integration between PS and contiguous modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PM) in S/4HANA, including with external systems where needed.
- Build and maintain sophisticated SAC dashboards and analytics, providing stakeholders with actionable insights into project performance through S/4HANA data connectivity.
- Enable integrated planning, budgeting, and actuals tracking in SAC by bridging SAP PS data with other modules such as FI/CO, MM, and budget planning.
- Lead change management efforts by advising on best practices and supporting the transition from legacy or manual planning to integrated SAC-based solutions.
- Develop, execute, and coordinate comprehensive test scripts—including cross-functional scenarios—to ensure all business processes and integrations function correctly.
