Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, steering, and other mechanical components.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete tasks safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry advancements by participating in ongoing training related to automotive electrical systems, powertrains, transmissions, and Shop-specific protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience or service technician experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive repair processes including engines, transmissions, and powertrain components.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Hands-on experience with wheel alignment procedures and vehicle maintenance routines.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
