Job Description

The Service Writer is responsible for processing parts orders for customers and the service department. They are responsible for creating, maintaining, and invoicing jobs for the service department, as well as communicating with the customers regarding their service needs.

Over the past fifteen years, through partnerships with vendors across the United States and Canada, Linehaul has grown its business and expanded its heavy duty truck service. In 2016, Linehaul opened a new facility in Evendale, Ohio where it currently maintains a growing distribution center and expanding 8-bay service center.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess prior heavy duty parts knowledge including cataloging and/or inventory systems. Service writing experience is a huge plus! The right candidate must have:

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• A positive attitude and great personal drive
• A willingness to provide exceptional customer service
• A willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced retail sales environment
• A professional demeanor
• An ability and willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
• Availability to work on weekends and overtime if required
• A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work
• Knowledge of forklift operation a plus.
