What are the responsibilities and job description for the Straightener/Deburr position at Linear Motion LLC?
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to read work instructions – blueprints, set up sheets, etc.
- Must be able to use basic inspection tools
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate straightening press
- Set up and operate Rambrite (or other designated polisher)
- Deburring per requirements
- Use of basic inspection tools, including dial indicators, tape measure, scale and micrometers
- Shop math
- If work in a FAA safety sensitive area, must participate in the anti-drug and alcohol random testing program
- Safety conscious
- 6S
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisors and Managers
Qualifications:
- Due to ITAR regulations, must be a U.S. Person
- High school diploma or equivalent
Language, Math, and Reasoning Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, set-up sheets, travelers, procedure manuals and government regulations.
Computer Skills:
Must be able to use the computer and computer software as required by job.
