Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Shop Diesel/ Natural Gas Mechanic to join our inhouse team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing various types of diesel and natural gas engines. This role requires proficiency with both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret service manuals. Excellent customer service skills are essential as you will be interacting with clients to provide updates on repairs and maintenance.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and natural gas engines.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
- Communicate clearly regarding repair needs, timelines, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diesel/ Natural Gas Mechanic.
- Must have your own tools.
- Must have strong troubleshooting, mechanical knowledge and internal engine repair skills.
- Hands-on experience with various types of diesel and natural gas engine repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with engine control systems and the ability to read schematics is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Diesel engine repair: 4-5 years (Required)
