This position works primarily inside the warehouse, maintaining sanitation standards and supporting our recycling efforts by collecting and processing cardboard boxes and other materials. You’ll help ensure a clean, safe, and efficient environment for all team members while following all company and regulatory safety procedures.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Work throughout the warehouse and cold storage areas to maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum floors.
- Pick up trash, debris and applet pieces to keep aisles clear and workspaces safe.
- Remove ice buildup in freezer areas when needed.
- Make sure cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked, working properly, and stored safely.
- Operate floor scrubbers, pallet jacks, or other equipment when needed.
- Experience using cleaning tools or warehouse equipment (like pallet jacks or floor scrubbers) is a plus.
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals safely.
- Able to lift at least 20 lbs (9 kg) and stay active throughout your shift.
- Can handle working in cold storage (as low as -20°F / -25°C) and warm dry areas (up to 100°F / 37°C) — protective gear is provided.
- Team player with a great attitude — ready to jump in and help wherever needed!
