What are the responsibilities and job description for the SPRAY/ACCESSORY INSTALL TECHNICIAN position at LINE-X?
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for LINE-X spray applications (masking, sanding, cleaning, and priming)
- Apply LINE-X spray-on protective coatings according to company standards
- Install vehicle accessories and aftermarket products accurately and efficiently
- Operate spray equipment, tools, and shop machinery safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Perform quality control checks to ensure top-tier results
- Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
- Assist with shop setup, organization, and processes during the startup phase
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
- Automotive, fabrication, or accessory installation experience preferred (but not required)
- Experience with spray equipment, coatings, or paint is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Valid driver’s license required
- Paid LINE-X product and application training provided
