What are the responsibilities and job description for the LINE-X Technician position at LINE-X of Eastern Panhandle?
Job Summary
The Technician position will be responsible for proper preparation and application of LINE-X spray-on bedliners.
- Prepare vehicles and equipment for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces as needed
- Operate the LINE-X spray system safely and efficiently to apply protective coatings with precision
- Conduct thorough inspections of finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Report parts and supplies needed for operation
- Prepare vehicles for application/installation
- Professionally install LINE-X accessories as required including toppers, tonneau covers, hitches, undercoating, and more
- Stay current with new techniques and spray applications
- Follow safety measures prescribed by the manager
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience installing vehicle accessories
- Basic electrical and wiring knowledge
- Automotive repair or customization background
- Prior experience in spraying, automotive coatings, body shop work, or similar hands-on roles.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
