About Lindy Communities
Lindy Communities is a multifamily property management company founded by the Lindy family in 1939. We manage 32 apartment communities and more than 6,500 homes across nine leasing offices throughout the greater Philadelphia region. As a family-built business, we operate with the discipline of a long-term owner and a forward-thinking commitment to modernizing our operations through AI and automation.
Position Overview
This is a newly created internship for a student who combines marketing instinct with technical capability and a genuine interest in applied AI. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the intern will contribute to two connected areas of the business:
- Facebook Marketplace Listings Program. Own the creation, maintenance, and management of rental listings across the portfolio, respond to inbound inquiries, and track which listings convert to tours and signed leases.
- AI Agent Development and Optimization. Help design, build, test, and refine Claude-powered AI agents that automate recurring marketing and operations workflows. This is the core focus of the role and offers significant creative ownership.
The intern will have meaningful responsibility from the outset, gain firsthand exposure to how a lean marketing function operates within a substantial real estate organization, and produce work that reaches thousands of prospective renters each week.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create, refresh, and manage rental listings on Facebook Marketplace across the portfolio
- Manage inbound prospect communication and route qualified leads to the appropriate leasing offices
- Track listing performance and conversion metrics from inquiry through signed lease
- Build and iterate on Claude-powered AI agents that automate marketing and operations tasks
- Identify additional manual workflows suitable for automation and propose solutions
- Contribute ideas and insights to the broader marketing strategy
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience creating and optimizing AI agents (academic, personal, or professional projects)
- Genuine interest in business, marketing, and/or real estate
- Strong written communication skills and consistent responsiveness
- Self-directed work style with the ability to manage projects independently
- A proactive, ambitious mindset suited to a fast-moving environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Claude, ChatGPT, or other agent-building platforms
- Coursework in marketing, business, real estate, or information systems
- Experience with social media listings or direct-to-consumer content
Compensation and Earning Potential
This role pairs a competitive $20-22 hourly base with an uncapped commission structure tied to lease conversions. Compensation is designed to reward initiative, and ambitious interns who treat the listings program as their own book of business can meaningfully increase their total earnings.
A Note on Academics
We weigh demonstrated skills and project work more heavily than GPA. Candidates who can show what they have built with AI are strongly encouraged to apply regardless of grades.
Eligible Majors and Class Years
Open to all related majors. Juniors and Seniors are encouraged to apply.
