Senior Technical Analyst – SAP BASIS. Lindt & Sprüngli (North America) Inc. Kansas City, Missouri. Responsible for the installation, upgrades, configuration, troubleshooting, and administration of SAP S4/HANA, other SAP systems, and related components. Plan, install, and upgrade the SAP and non-SAP packages and related modules, ensuring they are configured according to best practices and tailored to meet the organization’s specific needs. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that arise within the S4/HANA system and other SAP components to maintain system stability and performance. Implement SAP modules such as BW (Business Warehouse), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), IBP (Integrated Business Planning), CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), BTP (Business Technology Platform), Solution Manager, ChaRM (Change Request Management), SAP RISE, DWC (Data Warehouse Cloud), TPM (Trade Promotion Management), OData services, PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration), RGO (Remote Gateway). Configure and review EWA (EarlyWatch Alert) and resolve identified issues. Manage the entire system landscape, including on-premises and in-cloud solutions, including setting up and maintaining cloud connectors and ensuring secure connections between systems. Ensure the security of the SAP systems, handle user administration, access controls, and implement security measures to protect sensitive data. Optimize user experience and manage web traffic efficiently. Collaborate with the network and infrastructure teams, configure and maintain firewalls, VPN tunnels, load balancers, and DNS settings to ensure reliable and secure communication between systems. Implement and manage single sign-on solutions using SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language). Configure and manage the Transport Management System to control the movement of changes between different system landscapes. Perform system refreshers to synchronize data between production and non-production systems. The person in this position may work from any location within normal commuting distance to the Kansas City office. Travel up to 20% of the time to Lindt & Sprüngli locations (Kansas City, MO, San Leandro, CA, and Stratham, NH) within the United States. Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related degree. 10 years of experience in any IT position working primarily with SAP BASIS. 8 years of experience managing large-scale SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations. 3 years of experience working with SAP IBP, SAP RISE, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud basic concepts. Demonstrated proficiency in implementing User Administration, CUA, Security/Authorizations within SAP systems as well as Change Management using SAP Solution Manager and ChARM. Demonstrated knowledge of network and infrastructure components relevant to SAP systems.
