Company Overview
Lindstrom Equipment is a family operated agricultural machinery and parts dealership. They specialize in selling and servicing farm equipment, parts and implements from top brands, such as CLAAS, Fendt and JCB. Lindstrom Equipment continues to grow with locations in Modena, Menomonie and Watertown.
This position will be split between our Tomah location and being on the road serving our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues on equipment
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Inspect equipment to ensure proper performance
- Follow service procedures
- Document work performed, parts used and labor hours
- Communicate needs and timelines with the Service Manager
- Maintain a clean, organized and a safe work environment
- Stay current with training
- Other tasks as assigned by the Service Manager
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Mechanical degree and/or experience in agricultural service or repair is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read service manuals and diagnostic information
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds regularly
- Must be able to climb, bend, sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Must have a reputable driving history and a valid driver’s license
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
- Good communication and computer skills is required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
