What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Technician - Watertown position at Lindstrom Equipment?
Responsibilities:
· Assist customers and service technicians in identifying the correct parts
· Process part orders in person, over the phone and online
· Receive, inspect and stock incoming parts shipments
· Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts
· Order parts from vendors and track backorders
· Process returns and warranty parts when necessary
· Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge
· Other tasks as assigned by the Manager
Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent is required
· Experience in agricultural equipment or a related field is preferred
· Experience in a customer service field preferred
· Strong understanding of farming practices and equipment
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Excellent organizational and computer skills
· Ability to multitask
· Honest, dependable and self-motivated
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Must have a reputable driving history and a valid driver’s license
