Position Overview
The Automotive Finance Manager is responsible for coordinating and selling finance and insurance programs to dealership customers. This role involves working closely with lenders and financial institutions to deliver financial services while ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
Job Details
- Salary: From 100,000 to 150,000 per year
- Job Type: Full Time
- Location: Dulles, VA 20166
Key Responsibilities
- Sell financing and insurance products to customers, including extended service contracts and owner protection programs.
- Review customer credit applications and assess the profitability of financing arrangements for the dealership.
- Utilize the menu selling process and ensure all deal documentation is complete using a deal checklist.
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards.
- Work closely with the sales team to maximize business results.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies related to financial services and products.
- Support the dealership’s Safeguard and Transaction compliance programs.
- Oversee completion and submission of all financing documents and act as a liaison between customers and lenders.
- Attend weekly manager meetings and maintain effective employee relations.
- Promote company policies and uphold standards of business ethics and conduct.
Additional Information
This role requires adherence to organizational guidelines and local, state, and federal regulations. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support dealership operations.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an automotive dealership Finance & Insurance producer.
- Preferred training in Finance and Insurance Management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding financial service goals.
- Strong history of positive customer satisfaction results.
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Flexible schedule to meet dealership needs.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Successful completion of Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
