Job Summary

Entry-level apprentice position working under the Plant Mechanic to perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and service on forklifts, flatbed trailers, heavy equipment, and plant facilities within a precast concrete manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections, preventative maintenance, and servicing of forklifts, trailers, and heavy equipment
• Perform basic mechanical repairs and troubleshooting as trained
• Complete equipment and safety inspections and documentation
• Perform general facilities maintenance and shop upkeep
• Follow ali safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and lockout/tagout procedures

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Basic hand and power tool knowledge
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment
• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in varying conditions
