Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Plumbing Estimator to join our construction team. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive plumbing estimates using Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating software tools.
- Review construction plans, specifications, and contract documents to determine scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to assess project requirements and constraints.
- Prepare detailed cost proposals including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor project budgets and perform cost control analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in bid preparation, contract review, and risk assessment to ensure competitive yet profitable proposals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials costs, and construction techniques relevant to plumbing systems.
- Support project management teams in scheduling, resource allocation, and contract administration as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and construction estimating software platforms.
- Strong knowledge of construction site operations, contracts, and project management principles.
