Position Summary
The Automotive Porter Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining the condition and organization of vehicles on the lot. This role requires close interaction with Product Specialists, Service and Sales Managers, support staff, and customers. The primary goal is to ensure complete customer satisfaction throughout the vehicle delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead yourself and collaborate effectively with the team in alignment with the company’s vision and mission.
- Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags before delivering vehicles to customers.
- Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, or damages before returning them to customers and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain a neat and orderly vehicle lot, moving units as directed and following dealership display standards.
- Transport vehicles to and from storage locations as required.
- Test customer vehicle batteries in the service drive area.
- Perform building and grounds maintenance as needed.
- Assist with shop clean-up and handling deliveries when necessary.
Work Hours
Flexible hours available for full-time or part-time employment.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to safely operate machinery and vehicles, including manual transmission.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Capability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily.
- Willingness to comply with pre-employment screenings including background checks, motor vehicle records, drug testing, and credit reports.
