Position Title: Cashier
Position Status: Seasonal (Part-Time)
Starting Pay Rate: $12.50/hour (Seasonal Range 1, $12.50-$16.00)
Department: Parks and Recreation
Facility: Lindon Aquatics Center
Opening Date: February 5, 2026
Closing Date: Open Until Filled
General Duties:
Under the close supervision of the Management Staff, the Cashier will perform professional duties ensuring the successful operation of the Concessions and Admission Office.
Essential Job Functions:
This includes personable customer service
Working a register selling daily admission
Preparing and selling food in the concession stands
Answering phones and questions
Registering participants for programs
Light custodial duties
Additionally, employees will be required to assist staff and perform other related work duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a minimum of 16 years old to apply,
Hold a current Food Handlers Permit and First-Aid/CPR/AED Certification or able to obtain re-certification within a month of hiring.
The facility will certify in First-Aid/CPR/AED if applicant does not currently hold certification.
Experience:
No previous experience required
Must have communication skills to communicate effectively and efficiently with the guests, other staff, management, etc.
Preferred Experience:
Optional certifications and experience include other customer/food service certifications.
Schedule:
This position works a variety of different times and schedule will be determined upon hiring.
Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be included.
Pay Range: $12.50/hour (Seasonal Range 1, $12.50-$16.00) DOE
