Job Summary:
Lindo Mexico is hiring a bilingual host/cashier to greet guests, manage reservations and walk-ins using our seating app, and support smooth front-of-house operations. This position also handles to-go orders, payments, and guest communication. We’re looking for someone friendly, dependable, organized, and professional who enjoys working with people.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner in both English and Spanish
- Manage the waitlist, reservations, and server seating app
- Coordinate seating with servers for smooth guest flow
- Answer phone calls and take to-go orders accurately
- Pack and process takeout orders, including handling payments
- Inform guests about specials, promotions, and events
- Maintain a clean and organized host station, lobby, and patio area
- Assist servers, bussers, and managers as needed
- Follow supervisor directions and company procedures
- Complete opening and closing checklists
- Sanitize menus after each use and keep guest areas clean and presentable
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- Strong teamwork and organization skills
- Able to follow direction with a positive attitude
- Follow the restaurant’s Professional Conduct and Appearance Policy at all times
- Weekend availability required
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Able to stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 15 lbs
- Dependable, punctual, and professional presentation
