Lindo Día Daycare is a Hispanic Bilingual Home Daycare serving families in Vacaville . We’re a licensed large family childcare home with a warm, nurturing and culturally rich environment for children ages 0–5.
We are currently looking for a dedicated and caring Temporary Daycare Assistant to join our team For immediate 30-40hrs next week (01/05/26-01/09/2026) and a future part time/ or Sub- full time position.
What We’re Looking For: We are looking for a kind, responsible, and reliable team member who enjoys working with young children, is patient and nurturing, communicates clearly and positively, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment.
Job Duties Include:
Supervising children and supporting basic needs: feeding, diapering/toileting, handwashing, and offering water
Cooking and serving meals to children when needed
Rocking and soothing infants, putting children down for naps
Managing children’s behavior and helping resolve conflicts in a calm, respectful way
Uploading daily updates through our daycare app
Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, toys, floors, bathrooms, high chairs, and tables
Organizing and putting away toys, shoes, sleeping bags, and other personal or classroom items
Handling basic classroom laundry: blankets, kitchen towels, etc.
Washing dishes and cleaning school materials
Assisting with preparation and setup of lesson and activity materials
Mandatory Requirements
These must be completed or in place before starting:
- Cleared background check (no criminal record)
- Valid TB test (within the past year)
- Up-to-date immunizations: MMR, Tdap, VAR, and Flu (if applicable)
- Pediatric CPR and First Aid (EMSA certified)
- Mandated Reporter Training for Childcare (or willing to complete ASAP)
- Reliable transportation (own vehicle)
- Bilingual – fluent in Spanish and English
- Physically able to lift 35–40 lbs and push a quad stroller
- Basic computer/app navigation skills (for using our daycare app)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
