This position is a design and sales position and will require extensive interaction with clients. This position will require meeting with prospective clients to determine their goals and objectives, creating landscape plans and presenting estimates, and assist Production Manager during construction phase to ensure clients visions are translated through installation. This position will report directly to Owners and Senior Design Staff and will work regularly with our landscape designers, Operations Manager, Construction Foreman.

Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to determine project scope.
- Create landscape plans, conceptual plans, and renderings for client presentation.
- Review and present estimates, budgets, and phasing plans for client.
- Work with Production Manager and Project Foreman to schedule and coordinate project construction.
- Regularly visit construction sites to ensure client’s vision is implemented.
- Create and process change orders.
- Assist with construction budgets and job costing.
- Always represent the company’s best interest and maintain the highest level of integrity.
- Work on finding and capturing sales leads.
- Assisting other designers with ideas and design concepts.
- Communicate with clients, builders, sub-contractors, vendor, and co-workers promptly and courteously.
- Dress, speak, and act as a professional.
- Assist in the review, presentation, and collection of client invoicing.
- BS in Landscape Design or architecture
- 3 years working as a landscape designer for a professional landscape firm
- Highly Motivated and self-starter.
- Must have good problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must be well versed in CAD
- Must be highly creative and motivated to produce “one of a kind” designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must have character and integrity.
- Landscape construction experience
- Horticulture background
- Estimating and job costing experience
- Thorough knowledge of landscape materials and processes
- Experience with sprinkler and landscape lighting design
- Experience with Sketchup
