Shifts: In general we offer 4, 8, and 12 hour shifts for our CNA/CMA positions. We have openings for full-time (30 hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions.
Role
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide/Tech (CMA/CMT) to join our team! The Certified Medication Aide/Tech is responsible for passing medication under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse and to provide direct, hands-on care to residents.

Role
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide/Tech (CMA/CMT) to join our team! The Certified Medication Aide/Tech is responsible for passing medication under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse and to provide direct, hands-on care to residents.
Responsibilities
- Under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse, passes medication and provides treatments according to physician’s orders and in accordance with facility policy.
- Reports changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge Nurse.
- Reviews Tenant Service Plans as needed to gain and maintain a familiarity with tenant service needs and preferences.
- Reviews the Staff 24-Hour Communication log and corresponding Tenant Service Notes on a daily basis for information about changes in tenant service needs and/or health conditions.
- Provides personal services to tenants as assigned and as indicated on Tenant Service Plans.
- Assists tenants with medications and/or treatments as assigned and allowed by regulation.
- Responds to calls from the emergency call system in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
- Assists in the dining room during meal times
- Assists in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment by providing housekeeping services as needed.
- Assists with individual tenant and group social/recreational activities as requested; encourages tenant participation in activities.
- Monitors for changes in tenant needs, preferences, and/or health status, and reports/documents any changes according to established procedures.
- Responds to emergencies in an appropriate manner as per training received.
