CERTIFIED Sterile Processing Technician to join our team and oversee the Sterile Processing Department.
Duties include:
- Decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Inspect instruments for damage or defects.
- Assemble and package surgical instrument trays and sets.
- Follow established protocols for infection control and aseptic technique. -
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure sterile supplies are readily available for procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician
- Familiarity with sterile processing techniques and equipment.
- Understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic technique.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage instrument trays and supplies efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict protocols.
