The Linden S.T.E.A.M Academy is a K-8 School within the Malden Public School District that creates a personalized learning experience using small group, differentiated instruction, and project-based learning (PBL) to inspire all students towards becoming college and career ready. Our students experience STEM classes in our new Makerspace and Robotics lab.

All of our students participate in a yearly Exhibition Night, where their work is on display for the Malden and Linden communities, as students conduct Presentations of Learning to demonstrate their understanding and growth. Role Description:
Under the supervision of a teacher, Education Support Professional (ESP) provide direct services and support to students and participate in the daily instruction and activities of the school, program, and class to which the students are assigned. Beyond the normal classroom activities, the duties of an ESP correspond directly to the needs of students.
This position may involve special needs duties such as lifting, toileting and transportation assistance. This position works closely with students on a regular basis in an effort to provide them with the support needed to gain full benefits from their education program. Students may have disabilities/diagnoses that include learning disabilities, developmental disorders, autism, physical handicaps, multiple handicaps. Students may also speak a language other than English.

Salary: Commensurate with Malden Public Schools’ Unit C salary schedule
