Salary Range: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour

Join Linden Oaks as a School Van Driver and help our students start and end their day with a safe, reliable, and welcoming transportation experience. With over 65 years of serving students with language, learning, emotional, and neurologically-based needs -including Autism Spectrum Disorder - you’ll play a key role in connecting young learners to the support and education they deserve.
What You’ll Do
- Safely transport students to and from school along assigned routes and schedules.
- Foster a calm, positive, and supportive environment while students are in transit.
- Support students with a wide range of abilities, remaining attentive to their needs and safety.
- Maintain compliance with state and organizational safety regulations at all times.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, follow reporting procedures, and ensure cleanliness of assigned vans.
- Communicate professionally with school staff, and supervisors regarding student needs, route changes, and incidents.
What We’re Looking For
- Current California driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with students with special needs preferred.
- Strong communication, patience, and situational awareness in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and respond appropriately in emergencies.

Compliance Requirements:
- SB 88 compliance, including annual physical and participation in random drug testing.
