The Allure Group is looking for a Unit Clerk to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!

The Unit Clerk performs a variety of duties related to reception of patients/visitors, communication with the unit and medical staff and other departments. General clerical and medical record responsibility required.
Duties Include:
- Scanning in resident documents
- Updates room changes in our current electronic medical record program.
- Creating admission and readmission packets
- Updating room change information
- Updating resident discharge information
- Assisting DON with projects as needed
- Scheduling Dentist visits
- Scheduling Podiatrist visits
- Scheduling Optometrist visits through Sight Rite
- Answering phones
- Faxing and accepting faxes from the Labs and all other contacts
- Picking up and distributing mail from Unit
- Collecting documents for scanning

Requirements:
- HS diploma required.
- Medical terminology and basic data entry skills preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
Salary : $17 - $20
