Responsibility:
The Mechanical Diagnostic Analyst will analyze rotating equipment vibration data of all types to predict defect characteristics utilizing digital technologies to track and improve equipment health and reliability. In this role you’ll be an innovator and champion of continuous improvement to build the future of reliability health monitoring.
Purpose:
Increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by analyzing operational and diagnostic data to continuously improve reliability and increase productivity by eliminating unplanned events and downtime related to rotating equipment health and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Job roles duties and tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Innovate new and continuously improve predictive technologies and strategies.
- Proficient use and knowledge of Bently equipment protection systems, applications, and strategies.
- Analyze operating data to proactively identify influences that impact machinery.
- Integrate operational data with diagnostic signatures such as acceleration and displacement to proactively identify defects and anomalies.
- Challenge digital teams and suppliers to provide effective and innovative online monitoring solutions.
- Serve as a consultant offering prescriptive solutions as a subject matter expert on all types of rotating equipment.
- Available for remote off-hour diagnostic support as an integral resource to operating sites.
- Collaborate with, train, and mentor local maintenance and reliability resources.
- Champion rotating equipment knowledge management initiatives through procedure creation and improvements.
- Mentor and develop Linde rotating machinery personnel.
- Support of Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) as analyst subject matter expert.
- Participate in expert user panels and maintain a network of industry best practices and service providers.

Required Key Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills

- Expert knowledge of design, operation, diagnostic, and troubleshooting of all types of rotating equipment
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- At least 10 years in a related industrial environment including experience in operations, maintenance, diagnostics, inspection, and testing of rotating equipment.
- Competent in Bently Nevada Rack and System 1 configuration and application.
- Required Category II - Vibration Analyst certification to ISO 18436-2 standard.
- Preferred Category III- Vibration Analyst certification to ISO 18436-2 standard.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited institution (Ph.D. a plus).
