Project Business Lead

What you will enjoy doing*
- Supervise and support commercialization of approved projects, ensuring investments meet obligations and financial targets
- Track key performance indicators during project execution and coordinate with engineering, regional teams, and operations to resolve issues
- Lead customer interactions during execution, reviewing and managing change requests to maximize benefits and minimize risks
- Deliver consistent and clear project updates across Linde Gases US and senior leadership
- Collaborate closely with regional operations director and Project Operations Lead to align project scope
- Manage project "white-spaces," ensuring alignment across all Linde functions on utility agreements, land acquisition, permitting, and regulatory approvals
- Challenge and collaborate with Linde Engineering on project scope and capital cost to ensure competitiveness
- Review risk analyses and impacts on management reserves and business contingencies during execution
- Participate in customer contract development and amendments to align investments, project economics, and commitments
- Lead discussions with third-party customers or site hosts during execution alongside regional business leaders
- Represent projects at Linde Gases US and internal committee reviews, presenting and supporting as needed
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering; MBA is a plus
- Bring a minimum of seven years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrate experience in project work covering design, engineering, execution, or operations
- Have experience collaborating with customers during project development and execution
- Possess knowledge of air separation, HyCO, and related customer processes
- Confidently present to and engage with executive-level leadership
- Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills while collaborating effectively with teams to find optimal solutions
- Influence positively and build strategic relationships internally and externally
- Lead and motivate teams through natural authority and strong leadership presence
- Willingness to travel up to twenty-five percent as required
