In-Store Sales - Driver

What you will enjoy doing*
You will perform customer service activities, including receiving and entering telephone orders, answering questions, resolving challenges, and tracing order status or product shipments
Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store
Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers
And you will provide sales support to the Outside Sales team
Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs
You will promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store sales representative
Maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup and pricing
Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers
You will sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and occasionally support additional locations
What makes you great
High School Diploma / GED is required
More than one (1 ) year(s) of Customer Service/Inside Sales/Counter Sales is preferred
You have excellent customer service skills
No DUI/DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years
Have at least two years driving experience or have completed a course of instruction from a truck driver training school that operates equipment similar to Linde's
No preventable accidents, license suspensions or other moving violations in the past two (2) years
A current medical examiner’s certificate or the ability to pass a DOT physical
Valid class B CDL is required
Current Hazmat Endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain Hazmat Endorsement within 60 days of hire
Reached the age of 21 years or older
Able to lift 50lbs
