What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spot MIG Welder position at LINDE WIEMANN U.S. INC.?
This is a fast-paced environment and requires the individual to be on the shop floor.
Some Responsibilities of this job include:
- Awareness of PPE and Safety Requirements
- Functionality of Cell
- Emergency Buttons/E-Stops
- Part being Produced and how it Functions at End Customer
- Review work instruction / Discussion of critical points to include Bad Weld and How to Repair
- Assure Spot Welding to reduce Excessive Heat
- Weld in Order from one Side to Other
- Proper placement of Stud Covers to reduce Weld Slag
- Record Hourly Weld Counts
- Work to Learn Weld Numbers of IP
- Boundary Samples / Visual Aids/ Quality Alerts
Experience Needed:
Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
- Some overtime is required.

Salary: From $19.00 per hour starting $1.00/hour if you can TIG/MIG weld!
