• Performs analysis of pure and mixed gases by GC, NDIR, electrochemical and other instruments to ensure that customer and regulatory requirements are met.
• Generates certificates of analysis and labels for pure products and mixtures.
• Runs mixture calculations, prepares and fills compressed gas cylinders to prescribed specifications with NIST traceability, using high-pressure pumps and compressors.
• Calibrates analytical and plant equipment to required standards and maintains records.
• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting on instruments, scales, gauges, pumps, etc.
• Assists with the evaluation of medical gases for FDA compliance before releasing for delivery to customers.
• Ensures lab areas are maintained in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
• Maintains records both via hard copies and electronically.
• Interacts effectively with other work groups.
• Coordinates product orders, maintains stock levels, purchases technical supplies.
• Utilizes or adapts standard methods of procedure.

What makes you great:

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• 2 years experience working in industrial / lab environment.
• Must have demonstrated ability to calculate product composition and tolerances from analytical data.
• May require occasional travel.
• Ability to routinely move compressed gas cylinders weighing 150 lbs. or more. Regularly required to stand and work in hot or cold environments.
