In-House/Field Technician

What you will enjoy doing*
- Performs a wide variety of skilled mechanic duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and modify mechanical equipment and facilities.
- You will use a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignments.
- Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical equipment and systems requiring the isolation of the malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of bearings, gears, structural components, etc.
- You will performs preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems.
- Specific responsibilities include: Safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, boiler systems, valves and the ability to perform equipment alignments.
- Plan and execute maintenance tasks, and completion of all follow-up documentation.
- Yiu will complete some repairs of mechanical piping systems including threaded and welded pipe systems.
- Complete and document maintenance activities associated with predictive and corrective maintenance activities in computerize maintenance database.
- Other duties as assigned
- You have an high school diploma/GED required
- 3 - 5 years of equipment maintenance experience in chemical manufacturing setting preferred
- Knowledgeable in OSHA Process Safety Management Program elements including Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, Operating Procedure Elements
- You have an understanding of welding techniques
- Knowledge of high pressure piping systems
- Knowledge of cryogenic pumps and systems
- You have an basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Computer skills including Microsoft applications
