What you will enjoy doing*
- You will provide a high standard of Customer Service while delivering, which includes unloading of products and movement to customer use point and reloading the returned empty cylinders to the vehicle
- Driving represents as needed, includes delivery, cylinder handling, shipping orders/paperwork, customer contact, vehicle AM and PM inspections
- Accurately counting and recording quantities and styles of product delivered and picked up
- You will complete Hazardous Material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT/TC Regulations
- Placard vehicle according to required hazardous material regulations and Linde standards
- You will conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- You will identify the need for vehicle repairs and/or maintenance and ensure it is accomplished on time
- Processes medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures
- Performs visual, physical and odor tests on cylinders before filling and determines whether retesting and/or repairs are required
- Checks for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product
- You will load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck
- Operates and maintains cylinder scales and associated equipment
- Prepares warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and keys into the computer the quantities, styles and products filled in order to justify the stock inventory
- Completes and maintains quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures
- You will operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles
- You have a High School Degree / G.E.D. is required
- Two (2) years driving experience or have completed a course of instruction from a truck driver training school that operates equipment similar to Linde's
- You have no preventable accidents, license suspensions or other moving violations in the past 2 years
- No alcohol related convictions within the last 10 years
- A current medical examiner’s certificate or the ability to pass a DOT physical
- You have a valid class A or B CDL is required
- Current Hazmat on CDL or ability to obtain Hazmat within 60 days of hire
- You have more than two (2 ) years experience in plant or manufacturing environment preferred
- Read and write in English
- You must be 21 years or older
