What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Safety Observer position at Linde Corporation?
Qualifications:
- Strong construction backgroun
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- Completion of OSHA 30-hour Safety Certification
- Strong communications skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily site safety walks on individual construction sites
- Evaluate the completeness and effectiveness of the contractor's hazard assessments(JHA's, Good Catch, etc). When compliance and/or non-conformance is observed, immediately bring the issue to the attention of those individual and key stakeholders as appropriate
- Prepare Site Specific Safety Plans to conformance to Project Manual requirements.
- Support client initiatives as requested
