Safety Coordinator

What you will enjoy doing*
- In this role, you will assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management
- You will maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation in compliance with company procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including preparing reports
- You will work with a collaborative team to provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management
- This position supports administering, maintaining and training on HSE programs such as LOTO, Hazard Communication, EAP, Hearing Conservation, Hot Work, Respiratory Protection, etc
- In this position, you will observe and model the safe culture, but adhering to all safety requirements, and proactively working with leaders and employees to promote a Safety-First culture
- You will possess a Minimum High School Diploma or GED, and 5 years of related experience
- You must have an Associate Degree in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences preferred or minimum of 2 years' experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position
- You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- This position requires exceptional Organizational skills
- It is preferred that you have technical writing experience
