Materials Coordinator
Indianapolis, IN, United States | req27901 1st shift; Monday-Friday
What you will enjoy doing*
- You will partner with cross‑functional teams including Production, Packaging, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure timely material availability and clear communication regarding supply requirements
- You will oversee finished goods materials lifecycle, including creating packaging instructions, ensuring product label accuracy, coordinating outbound shipments, and managing storage and distribution activities
- You will maintain precise and current inventory records by performing routine audits and reconciliations, ensuring materials are properly packaged and available when needed
- You will create and maintain comprehensive reports on material flow, inventory levels, and team performance to support data‑driven management decisions
- You will assist with annual inventory processes, helping ensure accurate, efficient year‑end counts and documentation
- A High School diploma/GED is required; previous experience or a degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred
- Further you must be able to read, comprehend and understand work instructions
- You also must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Additionally, you must be able to operate fork truck, electric hoist, scales, and label machines
- Also, you should be comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping, crouching, climbing and capable of lifting 40lbs
- You must be able to wear a full face or half face respirator
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite are preferred for this role. Experience with Oracle a plus.
