Duties
- Conduct targeted weed control treatments across residential, commercial, or agricultural properties using appropriate pest control methods and products
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and efficiently to prepare sites for weed management activities
- Inspect landscapes regularly to identify weed infestations and assess treatment effectiveness
- Apply pesticides and herbicides following safety protocols and environmental regulations to minimize impact on surrounding areas
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites, ensuring timely arrival and departure while maintaining vehicle safety standards
- Assist with general lawn care, farming tasks, or landscaping projects as needed to support overall site health and aesthetics
- Maintain detailed records of treatments applied, equipment used, and site conditions for reporting and compliance purposes
Qualifications
- PCO Certificate with prior experience or knowledge in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and land management equipment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Willingness to learn new techniques related to pest control and weed management
