The Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a creative, energetic, and highly organized Graphic Designer & Multimedia Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for developing and producing high-quality marketing materials that promote chamber events, member businesses, community initiatives, and the LACC brand across print, digital, social media, photography, and video platforms.
The ideal candidate is a skilled graphic designer who can also capture professional photos and videos, create engaging social media content, and help tell the story of our chamber and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce marketing materials including flyers, brochures, event publications, banners, advertisements, invitations, and other promotional items as needed.
- Create graphics and content for social media and print.
- Photograph chamber events and ribbon cuttings.
- Capture and edit video content for social media and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing platforms and materials.
- Assist with copyrighting and scheduling for social media channels.
- Update and maintain website content as needed.
- Collaborate with chamber staff, members, sponsors, and vendors on marketing projects.
- Prepare print-ready files and digital assets in appropriate formats.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Assist with event marketing and promotion before, during, and after chamber events.
- Attend chamber events, including some evenings and weekends, to provide photography, videography, and marketing support.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
- Strong graphic design skills with a professional portfolio showcasing print and digital work.
- Experience with photography, photo editing, and visual storytelling.
- Experience shooting and editing short-form videos for social media platforms.
- Understanding of social media marketing and content creation.
- Knowledge of website content management systems is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize projects and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with chamber staff, members, community leaders, and business owners.
Compensation
- Hourly position
- Earning potential of approximately $40,000–$50,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and portfolio.
Work Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Some evening and weekend work is required during chamber events and activities.
