Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and estate tax returns with precision, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and general ledger accounting to maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage tax reporting processes, including tax compliance, tax law adherence, and regulatory reporting for diverse clients.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and other financial software tools for bookkeeping, payroll processing, accounts payable management, and financial statement preparation.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation, explain tax strategies, and provide guidance on estate planning, wills, trusts & estate law.
Skills
- Extensive experience in accounting and finance with a strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and technical accounting standards.
- Experience in tax preparation for individual and corporate clients along with knowledge of tax law and tax reporting requirements.
- Excellent client communication abilities to explain complex financial data clearly and professionally.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities including accounts payable/receivable management, payroll processing, and account reconciliation efficiently.
