Objective
A Production Operator position would include prep-work, masking, grit blasting, finishing, passivation, cleaning and perform duties assigned by the Production Manager.
Essential Functions
- Prep-work of parts
- Masking parts
- Grit blasting of parts
- Finishing of parts
- Cleaning of parts
- Passivation of parts
- Continuously monitor process, keeping the production output within the required tolerances
- Keep the tooling clean and ready to operate
- Assist and perform duties as assigned by Production Manager
- Use calibrated instruments to perform critical measurements
- Working in the Company's Quality and Safety System context, in accordance with its procedures and requirements
Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, at least 8 hours of work per day Monday thru Friday, some overtime as business needs change. Willing to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends, if necessary.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Detail oriented
- Must be able to plan, prioritize, and perform work in an efficient manner to meet schedules
- Willing to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends if necessary
- Able to lift at least 50lbs
