Advanced Ceramic Coatings, LLC. (ACC) is a joint venture between GE Aerospace and Lincotek Surface Solutions. ACC is a leader in the ready-to-engine airfoil applications market, namely thermal coatings for aviation components. 

Position Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers by accurately receiving, staging, checking, packing, and shipping customer orders. Duties will include submitting information on a computer, making sure everything is accurate. Also making sure the product is in good standing to send to the correct department.

Essential Functions

1. Receives incoming indirect and direct materials according to documented processes
2. Issues production orders to relevant value streams
3. Updates and maintains Line of Balance Sheet and emails/reports to customer agents daily
4. Picks and delivers indirect/direct materials to designated locations in production as required
5. Completes material movement transactions in ERP system
6. Delivers product cases/packaging to work cell for the following day shipment 
7. Prepares and packs outgoing materials for daily shipments  
8. Coordinates all incoming/outgoing shipments, both domestic and international
9. Records and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
10. Performs cycle counts weekly and reports out to supervisor
11. Performs 5S/AM/housekeeping daily and reports out issues/concerns
12. Performs other duties as assigned

Work Environment

This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment.  The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, scanners and fax machines. In addition, the individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. In addition, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. In addition, the employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. This job's specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, with additional hours as business needs necessitate.

Travel

Limited to no travel is required for this position.

1. High school diploma required

Requirements

1. Some experience in logistics is desired but not required
2. Customer Service oriented 
3. Must be able to use/learn to operate battery-powered lift and pallet jack or other manual lifting devices
4. Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of ERP system preferred
5. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment 
6. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
