As an Activity Aide at Lincolnshire Health and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating engaging and stimulating activities that promote socialization, cognitive function, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational activities for residents, including group activities, outings, and one-on-one sessions
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure successful program operations
- Assist with maintaining accurate records and reports, including activity calendars, participant records, and program evaluations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless implementation of activities and programs
- Provide support to residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with maintaining a safe and clean Activity Department
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation therapy, therapeutic recreation, or a related field preferred
- 0 years of experience; willingness to learn and grow with our team
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18 years of age or older
